Fire Alarm, CCTV, Card Access, Intrusion system Service Technician

Job Duties:

· Test, service and maintain fire alarm, CCTV, card access, and intrusion systems in accordance with applicable NFPA and NEC codes with working knowledge of system controls, alarm panels, devices, and components.

· Understanding of system schematics and wiring diagrams.

· Troubleshoot and repair deficiencies.

· Communicate with internal and external customers in a professional manner.

· Proper use and operation of tools required to complete the appointment.

· Complete service calls and/or inspections as scheduled in a timely manner.

· On-call rotation with other technicians to handle emergency service.

· Ensure company provided vehicle is clean and well maintained as required by company policies.

· Ensure that all assigned tools are safeguarded and maintained.

Education, Certifications, Experience:

· Hight School Diploma or equivalent required.

· NICET II and/or state required certification required (FAST).

· Minimum 2 years experience inspecting, servicing and/or installing fire alarm systems required.

· Must be able to work alone and as part of a team.

· Must have mechanical aptitude.

· Ability to operate a computer, tablet and read electronic blueprints required.

· Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $36.00 per hour
