Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited High School or equivalent required
• Valid Driver's License (5 or less points)
• Current Auto Insurance
• Must have a clean background with no disqualifying offenses.

Job Description:

We are seeking experienced individuals with behavioral support experience to provide compassionate care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities. As a DSP - Caregiver with behavioral experience, you will utilize your expertise to address challenging behaviors, implement behavior support plans, and promote a positive and inclusive environment.

• Assisting individuals with disabilities in residential settings with daily living skills (IE personal hygiene, medication administration, and home cleanliness) and their individual specific needs & goals.
• Ensuring the health & safety of the individuals
• Daily documentation & communication
• Provide transportation to community activities, medical appointments and personal needs.
• Dispense & administer medications to the individuals
• Maintains essential certifications
• Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, including those with behavioral challenges.
• Implement behavior support plans and strategies to address challenging behaviors effectively.
• Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation support as needed.
• Document behavior incidents and individual progress, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.

Pay: $17.50 - $18.50 per hour
