Job Title: Extrusion Technician

Location: White Bear Lake, MN

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

Pay: $26.80/hr Benefits: Med/Den/Vis, 401k

Job Description:

• Operate extrusion lines to create prototypes/products per requests, including setup, tear down, and clean extrusion head assemblies and tooling
• Troubleshoot and suggest creative solutions to process and design issues, and communicate build status to engineers
• Maintain and improve on current build tracking process and documentation
• Use internal and qualified external vendors to assist engineering teams to obtain supplies and services
• Perform basic statistical analysis of results when required
• Train others on new product processes and procedures

Experience Requirements:

• AA Degree or equivalent work experience in related discipline
• 2 or more years of related extrusion experience, in medical device or other regulated industry, and working with polymers – particularly Pebax, Nylon, PEEK, Urethanes
• Understanding of the quality system
• Demonstrated cross-functional teamwork and collaboration in a technically demanding environment, and ability to learn new technology/process
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Adaptability to changing and new tasks
