We are seeking a Health Plan Pharmacy Technician for an assignment in Portland Oregon. A Pharmacy Technician works closely with a Pharmacist to help in the preparation and distribution of prescribed medication. Their support and expertise enable pharmacies to run smoothly and efficiently. They typically work in hospitals and pharmacies where they help mix medicines, measure medication, count pills, label bottles, take payments and give instructions for medication. In pharmacies, they interact frequently with customers, whereas they handle more paperwork and focus on mixing medications for patients rather than interacting with them in hospitals.
