RESIDENT CARE - ADMISSIONS MANAGER TO JOIN OUR SKILLED NURSING FACILITY

RN LICENSE REQUIRED

The ideal candidate will be trustworthy and compassionate, and will :

  • Have completion of a Nurse (RN) degree from an accredited school of nursing;
  • Possess a current RN license in the state of Washington;
  • Align with Touchmark’s values (excellence, teamwork, hospitality, integrity, and compassion), as well as a desire to model these values and to encourage others to be allies, friends and givers
  • Enjoy being part of a team, as this person will work closely with a team of nurses to design and implement care plans for each resident
  • Have a genuine interest in caring for elderly residents and working in a geriatric environment;
  • Have the ability to plan, direct, and implement resident care program in a geriatric nursing environment; geriatric nursing experience desirable;
  • Possess a willingness to continue learning and improving skills, as well as a commitment to confidentiality;
  • Have the ability to evaluate effectiveness in the care plan;
  • Have the ability to educate, counsel, supervise, evaluate, and discipline resident care team;
  • Be able to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members and visitors

Essential Functions :

  • Must be able to complete required paperwork and filing with high degree of accuracy;
  • Ability to observe resident’s behavior and communicate observations in a professional and intelligent manner;
  • Must be able to explain clearly to potential residents, families and employees the policies and procedures of the facility;
  • After receiving the appropriate training, must be able to operate standard business equipment such as computers, copiers, fax machines and telephones.
