Job SummarySt. Christopher’s Hospital for Children is recruiting a full time BC/BE Neonatologist to join our team. As part of a multi-disciplinary and clinically integrated team you will provide care to the patients within our affiliated Level III NICU and Academic Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA.What You Can Expect
Work in a Level III 26 bed NICU, average daily census of 18 babies
Approximately 2,500 deliveries a year and 400 NICU admissions. Caring for babies as young as 23 weeks gestation
2 Neonatologists and 1 Physician Assistant - day shift, 1 Neonatologist and 1 Physician Assistant - night shift, NICU certified RNs, Social Workers, Nutritionists and tenured support staff.
24/7 Neonatal Physician Assistants in NICU to provide support
Newborn Nursery is staffed by pediatricians.
The division has a strong commitment to quality improvement work and participates in the Vermont Oxford Network.
This strong team-based approach focuses on providing the highest level of quality care and delivers excellent health outcomes that exceed the national average for critically ill newborns each year.

Ability to obtain/maintain DEA certification for Commonwealth of PA
