Are you a licensed veterinary technician with a passion for animal care and a commitment to excellence? Town & Country Animal Clinic is looking for an experienced technician to join our dedicated team. As a vital member of our clinic, you will have the opportunity to work alongside skilled veterinarians and support staff while providing compassionate care to our patients.

Responsibilities:

• Assist veterinarians with examinations, treatments, and surgeries
• Perform diagnostic tests and procedures, including blood draws and X-rays
• Administer medications and vaccines under the direction of a veterinarian
• Monitor patients during procedures and recovery, ensuring their comfort and safety
• Maintain accurate medical records and update patient files as needed
• Educate clients on proper pet care and preventive health measures
• Help maintain cleanliness and organization in the clinic and treatment areas

Requirements:

• Licensed veterinary technician with a minimum of 3yr of experience- Proficiency in technical skills such as venipuncture, catheter placement, and anesthesia monitoring
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards animals and their owners
• Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings and holidays as needed
