What are the responsibilities and job description for the Temporary Administrative Assistant position at Town of Berwick?
The Town of Berwick is seeking a temporary administrative assistant to Berwick Community Media. This position will run from October, 2024 to February 28th, 2025. Weekly hours are not guaranteed and will vary week to week based on departmental need, never to exceed 20 hours in a week. The rate of pay $25 per hour.
The Administrative Assistant will support the production and content migration and broadcasting of content for the Town of Berwick and Berwick Communications & Media under the Director’s general supervision.
RECOMMENDED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience and Education/Training:
· Two years’ post high school related training, education and/or relevant experience required.
KNOWLEDGES/SKILLS
· Knowledge of government proceedings and an understanding of community interests
· Knowledge of social media – YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram
· Data base management skills
· Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
· Proficiency with productivity tools and software (e.g., MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Workspace).
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
