• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must possess a High School diploma or equivalent. 
• Must be available and able to work through the Summer Seasonal period established by the Parks Division, which generally extends through late September/early October.

• A valid Colorado driver's license is required within the first five (5) days of employment.
• An acceptable Motor Vehicle Record is required at time of hire.

• One (1) or more years of customer service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of accepted landscape maintenance practices related to irrigation systems, turf, plant and flower beds, parks and athletic fields, and experience with the appropriate tools and safety practices.
• Specialized training (irrigation, construction, pesticide application, and/or equipment operation/experience) preferred.
• Pesticide Application Certification preferred. 
• Ability to operate specific equipment such as light work trucks, fluid dispensing systems, general hand and power tools, power mowers, scaffoldings and ladders, etc.

Hiring Pay Range: $20.00 - $21.25 per hour. 

• Recreation Center and Ice Rink Pass OR an Employee Golf Pass at the Breckenridge Golf Club.
• Returning seasonal staff members are eligible for a merit increase based on meeting performance expectations.
• Potentially furnished seasonal housing available for rent.
• Begin accruing PTO immediately.
• Typically four (4) - 10 hour shifts each week with consecutive days off.

WORK SCHEDULE:
The Parks Division is primarily looking for Full-Time and a few Part-Time schedules. Full-Time schedules typically consist of four consecutive 10 hours shifts, from 6:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Must be able to work shifts which could include weekends, holidays, and special shifts up to 40 hours per week, or as needed based on organizational needs.
Must be available and able to work through the Summer Seasonal period established by the Parks division, which generally extends through mid-September. If enrolled in high school, must be available to work until the start of school. All interested applicants must be available to work through this date, although all work schedules, hours and dates of work are at the discretion of the Town and may be altered at any time.
