Thank you for your interest in employment with the Town of Gorham!Minimum of high school diploma, or equivalent required. Associate’s degree in recreation or related field preferred. Minimum of one (1) year work experience in recreation or directly related field required. Prior experience working with school-age children and active older adults preferred. CPR and First Aid Certification, or ability to become certified within six (6) months of employment. Any equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be considered.
Must hold a valid Driver’s License and be insurable in a normal risk pool. Must have the ability and willingness to obtain a Maine Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with passenger and airbrake endorsements within one year of hire.
