We are looking for a Mechanic that will perform repairs, maintenance and troubleshooting, consisting of basic and intermediate work on a variety of gas- and diesel-powered vehicles and equipment.
Some of the day-to-day duties are listed below:
Performs troubleshooting and repair procedures on fleet vehicles and equipment.
Uses computer diagnostic equipment to perform preventative and unscheduled repairs on a wide variety of systems and components used in light and heavy vehicles and equipment.
Performs welding repairs.
Keeps accurate records of parts used and repairs performed and make entries to fleet software system.

The ideal candidate has the following qualifications/skills:
Aptitude for maintenance and repair work
Good communication, diagnostic and accurate record-keeping skills
Good time management, judgement and decision making skills
Strong initiative and dedication to perform high quality work
Ability to interpret and work from schematics and drawings
High School diploma or equivalent preferably supplemented by auto and equipment trade schools
Minimum of four years of experience at journeyman mechanic level
State of Colorado UST Operator A and UST Operator B certification or ability to obtain
State of Colorado CDL Class with B with P2 and tanker endorsement or ability to obtain
Participate in the Federal Transporation Administration random drug testing program
