We are looking for a Mechanic that will perform journeyman level repairs, maintenance and troubleshooting, consisting of complex skilled and semi-skilled work on a variety of gas- and diesel-powered vehicles and equipment. 

Some of the day-to-day duties are listed below:

• Performs advanced troubleshooting and repair procedures on fleet vehicles and equipment. 

• Uses advanced computer diagnostic equipment to perform preventative and unscheduled repairs on a wide variety of systems and components used in light and heavy vehicles and equipment. 

• Performs welding repairs and utilize welding skills to fabricate new parts and accessories

• Keeps accurate records of parts used and repairs performed and make entries to fleet software system.

The ideal candidate has the following qualifications/skills: 

• Four years of experience as a vehicle and equipment mechanic

• Good communication, diagnostic and accurate record-keeping skills 

• Good time management, judgement and decision making skills 

• Strong initiative and dedication to perform high quality work 

• Ability to interpret and work from schematics and drawings 

• High School diploma or equivalent preferably supplemented by auto and equipment trade schools 

• Minimum of four years of experience at journeyman mechanic level 

• State of Colorado UST Operator A and UST Operator B certification or ability to obtain

• State of Colorado CDL Class with B with P2 and tanker endorsement or ability to obtain 

• Participate in the Federal Transporation Administration random drug testing program
