    The Next Step program of the Vernon Public Schools is currently accepting applications for a summer position to serve as a mentor for our program participants. Job responsibilities include the provision of job site support, coaching and supervision during this four week summer program. The Next Step program is designed to provide participants with job skills, training, and job exploration opportunities in various job settings within the greater Rockville community. This Monday - Thursday program offers mentoring employees the opportunity to earn minimum wage with transportation provided to and from the job sites. The hours of operation will be 8:15 am - 1:45 pm beginning on July 1 and ending on July 25 for a total of 15 work days.
    The compensation for this position is $16.00 per hour. This is a part time, tempoary position with no benefits.
    Internal candidates cannot use benefit time during the summer and are expected be available for the entire program.
