Town of Wellesley is Hiring a Laborer Near Wellesley, MA
The Wellesley Water and Sewer Department is seeking a summer laborer to assist with routine operations and maintenance.
A high number of candidates may make applications for this position, so make sure to send your CV and application through as soon as possible.
Potential duties include painting fire hydrants, assisting in maintenance and repair of distribution equipment, water service repair, water quality sampling, GIS mapping of water infrastructure and / or other duties related to working in a public water system.
Successful applicants will be trained and supervised by department staff but may work independently at times depending on the task.
This is a 40hr per week position, working Mondays through Fridays (excluding major holidays) 6 : 30am to 2 : 30pm.
Dates of employment are flexible, and the length of employment is expected to be 2-3 months (June through August).
The rate of pay for this position will be $19 / hour.
