We are seeking a friendly and reliable Breakfast Attendant to join our team at our hotel. As a Breakfast Attendant, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our guests during their breakfast experience. Duties:
- Set up the breakfast area before guests arrive, ensuring all food and beverage stations are fully stocked and clean
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor, providing excellent customer service
- Assist guests with any inquiries or special requests they may have
- Prepare and serve breakfast items such as coffee, tea, pastries, cereals, and hot food items
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area throughout the shift
- Clear tables and clean up after guests have finished their meals
- Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the hospitality industry is preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and welcoming attitude
- Basic knowledge of food handling and safety regulations
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Knowledge of OpenTable or other reservation systems is a plus
