Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bartender to join our hotel team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and crafting delicious beverages for our guests. If you have a passion for mixology, a strong knowledge of various drink recipes, and excellent interpersonal skills, we would love to hear from you. This position also requires someone to handle bar food prep as well. If you are not able to work with both, do not apply.

Duties:

- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers

- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences

- Maintain a clean and organized bar area

- Check identification to ensure legal drinking age

- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations

- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner

- Upsell menu items and promote special offers or events

- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders

- Assist in stocking inventory and replenishing supplies as needed

Requirements:

- Previous experience as a Bartender in a restaurant or hospitality setting

- Strong knowledge of drink recipes, mixology techniques, and beverage presentation

- Familiarity with POS systems, such as Micros POS, for order processing and payment handling

- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests

- Basic math skills for inventory management

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

- Knowledge of food handling safety guidelines

- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
