The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for sourcing, attracting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding employees, all while factoring in the long-term goals of an organization.

They also ensure that current employees are satisfied and promote the company’s brand through recruitment initiatives and events.

Essentially, this role is to help grow the talent in a company by finding and nurturing the most suitable people to contribute to Margaritaville’s future success.

This position will report directly to the Human Resources Manager.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and candidate selection criteria.
  • Source applicants through online channels, such as Talent Reef, Indeed, LinkedIn, and other professional networks
  • Create job descriptions and interview questions that reflect the requirements for each position.
  • Compile lists of the most suitable candidates by assessing their resumes and criteria results
  • Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events to build a strong candidate pipeline.
  • Maintain records of all recruitment materials, including interview notes and related paperwork, to share with key stakeholders.
  • Act as a technical resource for associates, addressing and resolving day-to-day inquiries and problems relating to the human resources function and handling employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors.
  • Generate offer letters, administer background checks, I-9 documents, and E-Verify, and manage all pre-payroll administration tasks, including garnishments, benefits administration, and leave of absence processing.
  • Maintain physical and digital employee files, ensuring confidentiality and limited access to sensitive data and employee matters.
  • Development of Mentorship & Internship programs to strengthen our team member's experience.

What you will bring :

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related experience.
  • 3- 5 years of experience in talent acquisition or similar role in a hospitality environment
  • High-quality, timely, and professional service to internal customers and associates, ensuring their needs are met effectively and efficiently.
  • Experience in full-cycle recruiting, using various interview techniques and evaluation methods.
  • Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressures in an interruptive environment, manage special projects as assigned, and assist in the development of employee engagement functions and events.
  • Experience in college partnerships and building internship programs.
  • Experience in training and development to enhance our hiring experience with managers.
  • Proficiency with social media and recruiting professional networks.
  • Experience in using LinkedIn Talent Solutions to source candidates proactively.
  • Proficiency in documenting processes and keeping current with industry trends.
  • Experience in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is a must
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with all levels of team members.
  • Great Problem solving, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to an ever-changing environment.
