TQI Solutions is Hiring a Mid-Level Proposal Writer_ Near Chesapeake, VA
- Support the quality of proposal content development: facilitating content sessions, writing, and content reviews (internal and formal color reviews).
- Facilitate content sessions, write, and review content based on RFP/RFQ evaluation criteria.
- Ensure compliance with RFP requirements throughout the proposal development cycle.
- Collaborate with the team to articulate solutions, strategies, win themes, and strengths.
- Gather information from internal and external personnel to support proposal sections.
- Write clear, persuasive, and articulate proposal sections, translating complex ideas into easily understandable text.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance proposal quality.Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 7 years of professional experience in a competitive Federal Government environment, or a Master's degree with 5 years of experience.
- Minimum of 7 years in a proposal development role, including leading proposal sections for complex efforts valued above $40M.
- Experience with U.S. Navy and other Department of Defense branches, including Navy's Seaport NxG, GSA MAS, Alliant, or Oasis acquisition programs. Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite and MS SharePoint.
- Ability to work strategically and tactically, solving complex problems creatively.
- Demonstrated success in leading proposal sections and creating high-scoring proposal outlines.
- APMP Certification – Bid & Proposal (mandatory).
