CNC Lathe Operator

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating CNC lathes and be proficient in reading blueprints and utilizing precision measuring instruments. This role is essential in producing high-quality components that meet strict specifications and tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC lathes to fabricate precision parts according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files to understand project requirements.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to ensure accuracy of finished products.
• Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Adjust machine settings based on production requirements and quality standards.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve manufacturing processes.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations.
• Follow GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) practices to ensure product quality.

Skills

• Proficiency in operating CNC lathes and understanding of lathe operations.
• Familiarity with press operations is a plus.
• Strong ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
• Experience with CAD software for design purposes is desirable.
• Knowledge of precision measuring instruments, including micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Ability to fabricate components using hand tools effectively.
• Understanding of factory processes and workflows.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
