Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of forklifts and equipment in a warehouse setting. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the efficient operation of our warehouse.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts including lift trucks, pallet jacks, cherry pickers, reach trucks, and other equipment as needed
- Perform heavy lifting and loading/unloading of materials
- Assist with order picking and inventory management tasks
- Work closely with warehouse supervisors to ensure smooth operations
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to maintain and troubleshoot equipment
Experience:
- Prior experience as a Forklift Operator in a warehouse environment is preferred
- Proficiency in operating different types of forklifts and equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience with order picking and inventory control is beneficial
