Tractor Supply Company is Hiring a Sr Specialist, Employer Brand Job Details | Tractor Supply Company Near Brentwood, TN

Overall Job Summary

This position will be a digital native and creative content strategist to support the best team in retail. The Employer Brand Specialist will plan, build and promote Tractor Supply as an employer of choice and identify key stories to engage and attract talent. The role is responsible for delivering content strategies to attract, engage, and retain talent by raising the visibility of Tractor Supply's reputation, Mission & Values, and culture to future and current Team Members. This includes ideating the creation of captivating content, managing our Work At Tractor Supply social media presence, and developing initiatives to enhance the employer brand. Partner with various functions in Human Resources, Marketing, and Communications to identify opportunities and solutions to bring to life Team Member storytelling and brand initiatives. Recommend messaging and content to support our employer brand goals as well as promote our Team Member Value Proposition (TMVP) on social media/digital career platforms that enable Tractor Supply to attract and engage the best talent.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)

  • Brand Development: Craft, develop, and evolve the employer brand, aligning it with the company's values and culture. 
  • Content Creation: Build content strategies for various employer brand initiatives, including blog posts, videos, social media updates, career site content, etc., to showcase the company's workplace and culture.
  • Social Media Management: Manage and optimize the company's presence on various social media platforms to attract and engage potential candidates. Develop a diverse content calendar and portfolio that serves the different talent needs and embodies an accessible tone and benefit messaging that resonates with our candidates.
  • Employee Advocacy: Own initiatives to build resources for brand ambassadors, increase platform adoption, and manage vendor partner to drive success. 
  • Recruitment Marketing: Collaborate with vendor partners and talent acquisition to define the candidate attraction journey and integrate branding stratagies into the recruitment process.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct market research and analyze data to understand trends, competition, and the effectiveness of branding efforts. Update weekly performance dashboards.
  • Candidate Experience: Ensure a positive and consistent experience for candidates during the recruitment process.
  • Team Member Value Proposition (TMVP): Promote a compelling TMVP to attract top talent.
  • Collaboration with Stakeholders: Drive direction and alignment with cross-functional teams and agency partners.
  • Monitoring Brand Sentiment: Regularly review online brand sentiment across various platforms to modify content and/or creative as needed. 

Required Qualifications

Experience: 3-5 years of experience in employer brand, communications, marketing, or similar roles. Experience building, excuting, and scaling cross-functional programs with proven track record in digital marketing, content strategy, and candidate experience. Experience with content creation for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok, along with other social media platforms and best practices. 

Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.

Preferred knowledge, skills or abilities

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to foster and maintain collaborative relationships with teammates and business partners, including international teams.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in written and verbal communication showcasing the ability to listen, understand, and account for different perspectives and respond appropriately to varied audiences.
  • Strong copywriting skills and creative enthusiast familiar with brand strategies to drive awareness and engagement.
  • Understanding of SEO, digital marketing, and social media KPIs and metrics. 
  • Ability to utilize metrics to demonstrate success in building /strengthening a company’s employer branding proposition.
  • Able to synthesize and interpret data to tell compelling stories, ensure audience understanding, and secure buy-in.
  • Excellent research skills- always on top of industry changes and trends.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint. 
  • Graphic design and video editing experience preferred.
