Dental Assistant for Dental Office in Kaimuki, Honolulu, Hawaii

Job description:

We are currently seeking an Experienced, Full Time Dental Assistant to join our team in Kaimuki, HI. While experience is preferred, it is not required . We are willing to train the right candidate. As a dental assistant, you will work alongside general dentists and hygienists to provide exceptional patient care in a safe, friendly, and compassionate environment.

Job Duties Include but are not limited to:

- Taking high quality diagnostic X-rays

- Assisting the dentist and/or hygienist during procedures

- Properly sterilizing and setting up operatories

- Sterilizing dental instruments and equipment

- Educating patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care

- Periodontal Charting and Notating patient records

-Entering diagnosed treatment to patients chart

- Organizing treatment priorities based off Doctors diagnosis

- Organizing and restocking dental supplies

- Making outbound calls to schedules patients as needed

Requirements:

- At least one year of experience in a dental office preferred

- If no dental experience - the ability, willingness,  and desire to learn

- Open Availability: We work 32 hours in a week and need weekends availability

We offer competitive pay of $15-26 per hour based on experience , with bonuses available based on performance.
