This role requires an H.S. diploma or equivalent, ability to pass a background check, drug screen and motor vehicle report required.

**QUALIFICATIONS *(minimum requirements)***

**Education and/or years experience required:**

* H.S. diploma or equivalent.

* One year experience in truck/and or automotive painting industry.

* A valid drivers license and clean driving record.

**Preferred/Required Skills and Abilities:**

* Technical understanding of various parts of truck and its components.

* Strong attention to detail

* Strong work ethic

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

**Supervision of others/decision making aptitude (if applicable):**

* No supervisory responsibilities required with this position.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND ACCOUNTABILITES**

* Broad knowledge of the truck painting process from body/prep work through finish paint, clear coat, and quality control.

* Painting, sanding, polishing, detailing, and performing other exterior work to vehicles.

* Fulfill all painting requirements to include from parts painting to complete vehicle paint.

* Check all painted materials for proper surface condition and proper paint preparations and repair as required.

* Paint trucks with a high level of efficiency and quality.

* Follow all procedures for a quality, lasting paint finish.

* Be able to mix and spray all products used.

* Maintain spray equipment to meet operational standards, but not including repair of equipment.

* Knowledge of paint systems, equipment maintenance, and paint processes.

* Establishes a finished product which adheres to factory and dealership procedures when performing warranty work.

* Maintaining work area in a clean and orderly manner.

* Must be able to do heavy lifting of truck parts and tools as required from time to time.

* Must be able to work independently as well as be a team player with the department.

* Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

* Some overnight travel may be required as needed. (Lodging, meals and travel expenses are compensated per company guidelines.)

* Completes vehicle safety checks on company vehicles per Company policy and operates the vehicle within safety guidelines; immediately reports any safety concerns or Company Policy violations to management.

* Adhere to work schedule and maintain regular attendance.

* Performs Wallwork Inc.-wide duties as requested by the designated supervisor.

* Upholds Wallwork Inc. ethical standards and demonstrate the behavioral and service expectations as defined in our policies and procedures.
