Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Manager to join our finance team. The Accounts Payable Manager will be responsible for overseeing the accounts payable process, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, managing vendor relationships, and maintaining compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties:
- Manage the accounts payable process from receipt of invoices to payment disbursement
- Review and verify invoices for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to company policies
- Process invoices in a timely manner, ensuring proper coding and approval
- Prepare and perform weekly check runs or electronic payments
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve any discrepancies
- Maintain vendor files and ensure accurate record keeping
- Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve any payment issues or disputes
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure proper expense allocation and coding
- Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable
- Generate reports on accounts payable activity as needed

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Manager or similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial concepts
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, Workday) and MS Office Suite
- Experience with Kronos or other payroll management systems is a plus
- Familiarity with SOX compliance requirements
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
