Position Description: To-Go Specialist

As a To-Go Specialist for Traditions Hospitality Group in our full-service restaurant, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring efficient and accurate order fulfillment for our guests who prefer takeout. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and friendly demeanor will contribute to the overall success of our restaurant and the satisfaction of our guests.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Receive and process to-go orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all items are included and packaged correctly.
• Provide friendly and attentive service to guests, assisting them with placing orders, answering questions, and offering menu recommendations.
• Coordinate order pickup times with guests and ensure orders are ready for pickup in a timely manner.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to prioritize to-go orders and ensure prompt preparation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the to-go area, including packaging supplies and utensils.
• Handle payment transactions and accurately process cash, credit, and debit payments.
• Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Required Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to obtain a Gaming License (if applicable).
• Must be able to obtain an ABLE liquor License.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Must maintain a presentable appearance with clean uniforms.

Working Conditions and Physical Effort:

• Stand and work in a restaurant environment for extended periods.
• Moderate to high noise levels.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (INCLUDES EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE):

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to obtain a Gaming License (if applicable).
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to accept responsibility and be accountable for decisions and actions.
• Has strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant. Relies on experience and judgment to make effective decisions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Listens to and comprehends instructions from guests and coworkers over background restaurant and equipment noise constantly.
• Frequent hand washing required.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:

• Standing and walking during entire shift covering large areas.
• Exposed to cleaning chemicals.
• Reaches, bends, stoops, lifts, shakes, stirs, pours, carries and pushes.
• Lifts and carries supplies, tubs, and cases, weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Essential hand/eye coordination.
• Work is normally performed in a typical interior restaurant/bar/casino work environment.
• Noise level is moderate to high.
• Moderate or high exposure to cigarette smoke.
• Limited exposure to physical risk.
• Moderate physical effort is required.
