Warehouse/Shop Help Wanted

Job Description –

We are a growing and busy construction supply firm that services Heavy Civil Contractors, Regional and Local Municipalities, and many more that is looking for competent and qualified full-time Warehouse/Shop Help to fulfill inventory management needs. We make deliveries in New York City, Long Island, Hudson Valley, Western Connecticut, Northern Jersey with growth opportunities available. Responsibilities are outlined below, and we offer a Competitive Compensation Package starting at $18-$20 Per Hour. Rate Based on Experience. Benefits include - Paid Time Off, Health Insurance, Paid Holidays, and other benefits available after the 90-day probationary period. Overtime available as needed by Management.

Number of Positions Available – 1

Responsibilities include –

Warehouse Organization and Inventory Tracking.

Data Entry – Computer Experience and Plus.

Shipping, Receiving, Loading and Unloading Materials and Equipment, Properly Organizing and Securing Loads on our Delivery Vehicles.

Occasionally there may be a need to make deliveries in NY, NJ and CT.

Interact with clients and staff professionally.

Ability to lift 50 pounds or less.

Working in the warehouse and the yard in various seasonal conditions.

Forklift Operation (Will Train).

Cleaning and other Misc. Tasks as Required.

During the slower times of the year additional task may be required including painting equipment, general maintenance, and cleaning.

Qualifications –

Self-Starter who is looking to grow within a company.

High School Graduate or Equivalent Preferred but not Required

Valid Driver’s License (Must Be Able to Pass MVR Screening), minor infractions not likely an issue.

Must pass a DOT Physical prior to final employment offer.

Forklift Operation Experience a Plus.

Non-CDL Truck Driving Experience in NY Metro Area a Plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
