Summary:

The Carrier Relations Specialist will be responsible for daily carrier management functions, as well as providing reports and analysis surrounding carrier relations and usage.

Essential Functions:

• Responsible for carrier onboarding and working with RMIS/Highway for carrier setups.
• Strong proficiency working with Excel Pivot Tables and Charts, VLOOKUP, Functions, and Formulas.
• Remain a Point of contact for third party TMS carrier tools and compliance.
• Analyze, build, and maintain analytics to monitor carrier usage and compliance.
• Create best practices and develop new processes for vetting carriers.
• Ability to multitask and handle multiple requests at once.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and/or proven experience in (3PL) Third-Party Logistics operations.
• Detail-oriented
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Proactive approach to analyzing, diagnosing, and prescribing business solutions to meet company goals
• Ability to coordinate between key customers and internal/external stakeholders
• Experience leveraging technology enabled solutions a plus
• Strong oral, written communications and presentation skills
• Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint applications.
• Exemplary communication skills, both oral and written
• Consistently meets deadlines
• Creative and driven to find or create solutions
