Trailways of New York is Hiring for a Full-Time Counter Person.

When getting there matters, our modern well-equipped motorcoaches carry passengers throughout New York State, and into Montreal, Toronto and Detroit, Michigan.

We have an immediate employment opportunity for a Parts Counter Person in our Albany Fleet Maintenance Facility.

The preferred candidate is an initiative-taker, detail-oriented and has:

• Effective communication and time management skills.
• The ability to work well independently and with a team.
• Parts room experience-Diesel and heavy-duty experience preferred-not required.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Computer skills (Word & Excel).
• Inventory experience preferred-not required.
• The ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and D.O.T. physical.
• The ability to lift up to75 pounds.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Distributing parts to mechanics in the maintenance facility.
• Maintaining a clean and organized parts department.
• Managing inventory and inventory control.
• Shipping and receiving of all parts.
