Position Title: Math Summer Academy TeacherLocation: Traip AcademyReports To: Jane Durgin, Principal of Traip AcademyPosition Start Date: June, 2024Required Certification: Math Certification Application Deadline: Open until filledThe Kittery School District is currently seeking a teacher of Math to serve as a Summer Academy teacher, helping students recover competencies they have not mastered this past year. The position is for three to four days in one week during the last two weeks in June. Each day is 3 to 4 hours of time with the students. Materials are provided by Traip Academy teachers for each individual student. The pay is $35 per hour, with one hour of paid planning time for every five hours worked (i.e. 5 hours worked = $210). You must be able to pass a background test through the State of Maine Education Department.
