Join Trane Technologies as a Manufacturing Engineer in La Crosse. In this role, you will operate innovative engineered systems and develop, coordinate, and implement sustainable manufacturing production processes. Your cross-functional team will be focused on delivering quality, safety, and operational efficiency improvements.

Where is the work:This position will be onsite each day in La Crosse, WI and is a safety-sensitive role. The working hours will be a weekend shift Friday-Sunday 5:30am -6pm CST.

What you will do:

• Provide timely resolution of manufacturing process and product design problems, including investigations, statistical studies, and corrective action planning.

• Create cost-effective and safe manufacturing processes, equipment, and tools to improve manufacturing operations.

• Design manufacturing flow lines, workstation layouts, and station controls that optimize efficiency, operating costs, and product quality.

• Uphold manufacturing standards including machine capability, process maps, set-ups, quality controls, tooling and fixture records, routings, and cycle times.

• Generate work instructions, job breakdowns, and standardized work to ensure quality at the source meets product and manufacturing specifications given local needs.

• Serve as a voice of the customer for input for new design development.

• Partner with on-site EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) to ensure all equipment meets safety regulations compliant with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration).

What we expect of you:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Degree preferred in Engineering or related technical disciplines; minimum of high school diploma or GED required.

• Ability to accurately assess manufacturing issues related to process and design.

• Effective communication at multiple levels coupled with ability to build relationships.

• Growth mindset – desire to expand technical skillset.

• Results-driven to maintain accountability and customer-focus

• PFMEA experience preferred.

 

Compensation:

Base Pay Range: $80,000-$100,000.

Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
