Qualifications:

• A Professional Engineer’s license in Virginia is required.
• Personnel provided by the selected firm(s) must be able to work in Town offices under the direction of Town staff.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future. 

Desired Skills:

• Personnel are expected to be proficient in overseeing multiple projects, familiar with the Town’s DCSM, SLDR and Zoning ordinance, VDOT standards, DEQ stormwater regulations, effective communication, leading a project, time management and computer usage including but not limited to standard land development software related to storm drainage, roadway design, stormwater management, floodplain and Microsoft office.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a closely related field, four (4) years of plan review experience in the engineering fields.

Travel Requirements:

This position will involve no travel.
