Transwest Mobile Truck Repair Company is hiring Mobile Technician in the San Marcos CA and its surrounding area.
We work Monday- Friday from 7am-5pm. We do offer overtime and full benefits including 401K. Transwest promotes from within and provides reviews with salary increases if deemed necessary after 90days.
Transwest is hiring HIGHLY SKILLED & EXPERIENCED technicians that can repair a wide array of bumper-to-bumper issues.
We repair Freightliners, Cummins, Peterbilt's, and Detroit engines to name a few. The technicians that will be hired are Professionals that have an extensive career in the truck repair industry. Techs need to do engine swaps, great electrical repairs, schematics, transmissions, hydraulic systems, internal combustions to name a few and MORE. Must have the ability to repair both Gas/Diesel engines.
You need to already be efficient, experienced and skilled to repair bumper to bumper on our fleet as mobile technician. Our fleet consist of Light to Heavy-Duty vans and trucks.
We use a software call FULL BAY. This system is where technicians complete customer invoices, order parts, notes, time keeping and more. Full Bay is a one stop all encompassing software for techs.
In addition to Full Bay we have Parts Runners. You do not need to stop what your are doing to pickup a part. Your parts runner does that for you in a timely manner so you can continue what you're best at which is Repair Work.
Service Trucks are provided for technicians which means you are under our insurance. We do EXTENSIVE BACKGROUND, DRUG TESTING, MVR, HPE Testing and More. Make sure you do NOT have any infractions that could arise on your total background that could prevent you from getting hired.

Essential Functions / Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a fleet of vehicles and industrial equipment, including but not limited to trucks, trailers, forklifts, and hydraulic systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, including engine, transmission, and electrical systems.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed.
- Coordinate with other team members to prioritize and complete work orders in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in truck maintenance and repair, preferably within a fleet setting.
- Strong knowledge of diesel/gas engine repair and maintenance.
- Proficient in diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues in various types of vehicles and equipment.
- Familiarity with hydraulics, electrical systems, and other components of industrial equipment.
- Ability to align wheels and perform basic alignment procedures.
- Experience working with tractor-trailers is a plus.
- Certification or degree in automotive technology or a related field is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
