Marketing Analyst - 12757
Length of Assignment: 4 months
Location: Plano, TX
Schedule: Monday – Thursday onsite, Friday WFH
- Conduct comprehensive competitive analysis to assess market dynamics, competitor strategies, and consumer preferences in the mobile, home entertainment, and digital appliances segments.
- Collect and analyze data from various sources, including market reports, industry publications, and internal databases, to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with the Senior Manager of Competitive Intelligence to align analytical objectives with the subsidiary's Mystery Shop Data needs.
- Utilize in-house tools, Tableau, and techniques, with a focus on Excel, to organize and interpret complex data sets.
- Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and dashboards to communicate findings and insights to key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, marketing, and retail execution sales teams, to provide strategic insights and support decision-making processes.
- Monitor competitor activities and industry developments to stay informed of market trends and emerging threats or opportunities.
- Assist in the development of competitive intelligence strategies and frameworks to enhance the company's competitive position.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Economics, or related field.
- 3 years of experience in competitive analysis, market research, or related fields.
- Proven expertise in Excel, data analysis, and visualization techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Experience in the consumer electronics industry or related sectors is preferred but not required.
