We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a NEMT Transportation Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating transportation services for patients, ensuring timely and reliable transportation to and from medical appointments and healthcare facilities. This role requires strong communication skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to our clients.
**Qualifications:**1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in healthcare administration, transportation management, or a related field.2. Previous experience in a transportation coordination role, preferably in the healthcare or NEMT industry.3. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.4. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.5. Proficiency in computer applications, including scheduling software, Microsoft Office Suite, and electronic medical records systems.6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities.7. Knowledge of relevant regulations, laws, and industry standards governing NEMT services is preferred.8. Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the safety and well-being of patients at all times.
**Responsibilities:**
1. Coordinate transportation requests from clients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies.
2. Schedule rides for patients according to their medical appointments and mobility needs.
3. Dispatch drivers and vehicles to transport patients to their destinations, ensuring efficient use of resources.
4. Communicate ride details, address concerns, and provide support to drivers, patients, and other stakeholders.
5. Maintain accurate records of transportation requests, ride schedules, patient information, and billing details.
6. Handle billing processes, including verifying insurance coverage, submitting claims, and ensuring timely reimbursement.
7. Monitor the performance of drivers and the quality of service provided to patients, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
8. Provide training and support to drivers, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, customer service standards, and company policies.
9. Resolve transportation-related problems or emergencies that arise during the day, implementing solutions to minimize disruptions.
10. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, laws, and company policies governing NEMT services.

Pay: $34,560.00 - $47,120.76 per year
