Job DescriptionFox News is looking for an experienced ENG Field Photographer to join our Washington, DC Bureau. The ENG Field Photographer will cover breaking news and planned events both domestically and internationally. You will work with other field photographers, field techs, satellite truck operators, engineers, field producers, and reporters. The ENG Field Photographer must be willing and able to travel and work a variety of shifts, potentially on short notice. A valid driver's license, passport, and a clean driving record are required.
You are comfortable covering breaking news events as a one-person team including protests/riots, rallies, and war zone conflicts. You are equally comfortable using traditional and large production cameras, including multi-camera shoots using full-sensor cinematic cameras. This includes the lighting techniques associated with high-end production.
This shift will include working on one or both weekend days, (Saturday and/or Sunday).

5 years of professional experience in the fieldIn-depth knowledge of Sony/Panasonic ENG cameras and file workflow operationsStrong lighting skills and experience with long-format shootsWorking knowledge of field audio mixersUnderstanding of satellite, microwave, fiber, and truck transmissions/operationsProficient in mixing live remotes with IFB communicationsAdobe Premier editing is a plusDrone Pilot experience and FAA Part 107 certification is a plusKnowledge of full-frame cinematic cameras is a plusValid driver's license and passportA clean driving record is required, CDL is a plusWillingness to be trained on a transmitting satellite camera crew vehicleThe flexibility and speed to work in a high-stress, breaking news environmentExtensive travel and the ability to deploy at a moment's notice to support the demands of a 24-hour news operation are essential

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $45.50-59.25 per hour for Washington, D.C. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
