My client is hiring an Associate Dentist to join our growing team! The Associate Dentist will provide comprehensive dental care, including diagnosing, treating, and preventing dental diseases and injuries. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent patient communication, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, lasting dental care.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Clinical Services:

  • Perform dental examinations and diagnose oral conditions.
  • Develop treatment plans for patients to address their dental health needs.
  • Perform routine and complex dental procedures, including fillings, crowns, bridges, root canals, extractions, and dental implants.
  • Administer anesthesia and perform pain management techniques during dental procedures.

Patient Care:

  • Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, necessary dental treatments, and post-treatment care.
  • Address patient concerns and provide solutions to dental problems.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of dental treatments.
  • Ensure patient comfort and provide a positive dental experience.

Team Collaboration

  • Work collaboratively with dental assistants, hygienists, and administrative staff.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to practice growth and improvement.
  • Mentor and guide dental team, namely dental assistants and hygienists in their clinical roles.

Practice Management

  • Adhere to all relevant dental regulations, standards, and protocols.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following infection control procedures.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in dental technology and techniques through continuing education.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school.
  • Valid Florida dental license.
  • Proven experience as a General Dentist (5 years preferred).
  • Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of dental procedures and materials.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of manual dexterity.
