An exceptional TPA Assistant may be promoted to a TPA Specialist while growing in the field of retirement planning.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Pension Plan Administrator on helping business clients with pension plan design and administration
• Collect census data from clients to determine eligibility and vesting schedule
• Monitor clients' 401(k) accounts on enrollment and termination processes
• Assist with maintaining up-to-date knowledge of ERISA laws and regulations on pension legislation
• Assist with other administrative duties and projects assigned by the Pension Plan Administrator

Qualifications

• At least 3 5 years of relevant experience in pension plan setup
• Proficient in computer skills - MS Office : Excel, Word, Adobe : Acrobat
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English
• Good organizational skills, attention to detail, professional phone etiquette
• Active listening skills, patient, and a positive work attitude
