Position Overview:

As the Warehouse Operator, you will be responsible for assisting in the daily function of receiving, loading, and preparing, vehicles and general cargo, for international shipping.

Essential Job Functions:

Assist receiving by checking the condition of vehicles and cargo, as well as preparing and loading vehicles and cargo into overseas containers for export.

• Preparing cargo for export.
• Loading / Unloading cargo into/ from Overseas Shipping Containers.
• Receive cargo, issue condition reports, and take receiving pictures.
• Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or other designated areas. Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence.

• May be assigned facilities maintenance duties as needed. Sweep, dust, and mop.
• Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.

• Training will be provided.

Qualifications/ Requirements:

• A forklift license is preferred – must be able to certify within the first six months of hire.
• Must have full proficiency of the English language (read, write, converse). Spanish is a plus.
• Must be able to drive a stick shift vehicle and have a valid driver's license.
• Must have excellent communication skills, self-motivation and time management skills, basic computer literacy, and mathematical skills, organized, thorough and attentive to detail, and working well with others in a fast-paced environment to ensure shipping and receiving deadlines are met, and operate appropriate machinery.
• Basic Computer skills.
• Employees should have experience in the operation of a table saw, nail gun, and basic tools.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift/push loads up to 75 lbs.
• Must be able to lift, bend, or stand for long periods.
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
