Why Transhealth?
Tired of the ‘grind ethic’ of most healthcare systems? We have only 30- and 60-minute appointments. We see patients seven sessions per week (8a-5p), have two sessions for administrative work, and another session for community outreach projects. Upstairs from the Primary Care team, we have a suite of Mental Health clinicians including med prescribers and therapists ready for collaboration and care. We have a community team that provides opportunities for our patients to create support networks, stocks a closet with gear and clothing, and directs programming in the community and inside Transhealth.
We believe everyone deserves joy in our work, bodies, and relationships as well as on our streets. We believe in understanding and empathizing with others and approaching with a beginner’s mind. We are devoted to being compassionate at work, for our colleagues and patients.
