1 Maintenance Technician Job in Glendale, NY
Transportation is Hiring a Maintenance Technician Near Glendale, NY
In this role you will be performing inspections, troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on locomotive equipment. You will also be required to perform installs, retro fits and repair of diesel engines, motors, generators, and other mechanical and electrical components. Experience working on locomotive equipment is preferred. In this role you will be working both indoors and out.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 2 or more years in repair and maintenance of diesel engine, heavy equipment, or transportation equipment
- The ability to read blueprints, schematics and wiring and flow diagrams
- A valid driver’s license
- The ability to read and follow all safety guidelines
- The ability to use hand, power, and air tools safely and effectively
- A full Covid vaccination
