THE OPPORTUNITY:
The Logistics Analyst will support Transtar’s logistics projects and initiatives. The main responsibility for this position is to ensure the effective utilization of all transportation tools and to be a transportation subject matter expert to support Transtar branches and DCs with information such as delivery ETAs, best transportation mode, best transportation carrier, bills of lading, and tenders to truckload carriers. Reporting to the Logistics Manager, this position will be tasked to ensure that internal and external customers receive products on time and at the best cost. This will be done by leading and assisting on a multitude of cost savings projects, efficiency initiatives and through data analytics.
