Transylvania County Schools seeks a Teacher Assistant for Brevard High School's Exceptional Children Program. Position is available November 6, 2023. Position is 35 hours/week and includes employment benefits and health insurance; 196 day employment. It is preferred that applicants hold at least an Associate's degree from a regionally-accredited college or university. Applicants must demonstrate excellent interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills; and, must demonstrate a strong commitment to student success. Service as a bus driver either as a substitute or a regular route driver may be required and would be additional employment hours beyond the 35 hours/week as an assistant. Obtaining a Commercial Driver's License is required.
