Role: SAP Purchasing/SCM Functional Consultant

Location: Emeryville, CA (Hybrid)

Job Summary: Provide functional expertise in SAP modules related to Purchasing, Supply Chain Management (SCM), Materials Management (SAP MM), 3PL experience and SAP HANA to optimize business processes and ensure seamless operations.

Responsibilities:

• Configure and support SAP modules for Procurement, Inventory Management, Supply Chain Planning, and related areas.
• Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and supply chain teams to streamline workflows within SAP.
• Develop functional specifications for customizations and enhancements.
• Define and manage master data for materials, vendors, and purchasing conditions.
• Conduct testing, provide user training, and troubleshoot issues in SCM-related processes. Implement and optimize SAP HANA-based solutions for improved performance and real-time analytics.
• Design and develop SAP HANA models to support supply chain and procurement processes. Migrate existing SAP systems to SAP HANA and ensure data integrity during the transition. Leverage SAP HANA's in-memory computing capabilities to enhance supply chain visibility and decision-making.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure proper integration of SAP HANA with other systems and applications.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
• Experience in SAP SCM, with a focus on purchasing, inventory, or related modules.
• Deep understanding of supply chain processes, materials management, and procurement best practices.
• Ability to analyse business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
• Hands-on experience with SAP HANA implementation and optimization.
• Knowledge of SAP HANA modelling techniques and best practices.
• Familiarity with SAP HANA Studio and other related tools.
• Understanding of in-memory computing concepts and their application in supply chain management.
