Traub Lieberman is looking to expand its Professional Liability and Employment Liability practice groups. We are a firm in growth mode, and we are looking for attorneys interested in growing with us. THE POSITION: LITIGATION ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY | PROFESSIONAL LIABILITY/EMPLOYMENT DEFENSE

The successful candidate must be a well-organized self-starter and able to manage tasks and deadlines independently, while keeping key stakeholders informed of case status. Traub Lieberman provides a collaborative team environment, and colleagues gladly offer training and answer questions to support the success of team members. As a member of our team, the attorney will have the benefit of gaining hands-on experience and working closely with partners invested in their professional development and growth.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • JD from an accredited law school
  • Admitted to practice in New York State and Federal Courts
  • 3 - 5 years of litigation experience including defense of brokers, attorneys, architects, engineers and/or other professionals and/or employment defense, including discrimination, wage & hour, and retaliation preferred
  • Superior communication, writing, and research skills
  • Ability to independently handle and manage, with Partner oversight, all phases of litigation, with a caseload of 25 or more litigation matters
  • Draft motions, discovery demands and responses
  • Handle court appearances and depositions
  • Communicate with clients and provide status reports
