POSITION SUMMARY

The Marketing Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting the General Manager (GM) and facilitating the marketing initiatives of the organization. This position requires a dynamic individual with strong organizational, communication, presentation, and marketing skills to assist in various administrative tasks and marketing activities.

COMPETENCIES

Administrative Support: 

• Provide administrative assistance to the General Manager, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel arrangements;
• Prepare and distribute correspondence, reports, and presentations on behalf of the GM;
• Serve as a liaison between the GM and internal/external stakeholders, handling inquiries and requests promptly and professionally;
• Maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information and communications.
• Presentation creation (PP/slides) tailored at focus groups; ability to adjust and tailor messages

Digital Marketing Support:

• Assist in managing digital marketing campaigns, including paid advertising, SEO, and paid per click;
• Monitor KPI’s and analytics to track effectiveness of campaigns;
• Collaborate with internal and external team to execute digital marketing efforts effectively

Marketing Coordination:

• Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies and campaigns to promote the organization's products or services.
• Coordinate marketing activities, such as advertising, social media, email marketing, and events, to ensure seamless execution and alignment with marketing objectives.
• Assist in creating marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, presentations, and digital content, ensuring brand consistency and quality;
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitors, and opportunities for growth.

Content Creation and Management:

• Assist in creating and curating engaging content for various marketing channels, including website, social media, and email newsletters;
• Manage content calendars and schedules to ensure timely and consistent delivery of marketing materials
• Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries on social media platforms; representing the organization professionally and effectively.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
• Proven experience in administrative support, marketing coordination, or related roles.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with marketing software and tools (e.g., social media management, email marketing platforms).
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Knowledge of marketing principles, digital marketing trends, and best practices is a plus.
