- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a Level 3 trauma center, STEMI, and Stroke receiving unit.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings; ensure accurate and timely documentation.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations, utilizing critical thinking and clinical skills.
- Maintain patient ratios of 1:5 in medical and 1:6 in fast track settings.
- Support patient care by working closely with monitor technicians.
- Educate patients and families about medical conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care.
- Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.Qualifications:
- Current and valid RN license in AZ.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute care setting, preferably in trauma, cardiac, or emergency care.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting telemetry.
- Strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required; TNCC certification preferred.
