TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Long-Term Care RN in Cody, Wyoming, 82414 About The Position Summary : Long Term Care RN/LPN provides care to patients with chronic conditions and prolonged illnesses. Long-term care is a range of services that supports a patient/resident meet their daily needs. Most long-term care is not medical care, but rather assistance with the basic personal tasks of everyday life called Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as Bathing, Dressing. Reports to Supervisor of Unit. Duties and Responsibilities: Receives and provides adequate reports on all patients. Assesses, plans, and implements client care. Receives and transcribes doctor---s orders. Assists with physical examinations, makes round of assigned clients following guidelines of institution. Wound care , including identify Stasic Ulcers. Administering oxygen, changing dressings. Inserts and irrigates urinary catheters. Administers and documents Medications. Obtains laboratory specimens. Administers CPR and other emergency procedures as necessary. Assist patients/residents with Activities of Daily Living. Assist with transfer to physical therapy and other Daily activities. Education and Experience Requirements: RN /LPN license in good standing. Must have one year of experience in LTC. Graduate of accredited Nursing School. Must have current AHA BLS.
