About The PositionID: 50940040 Shift: 12H Days Days - 7A-7P Description: Unit Notes:75 mile radius from the travelers driver's license to the facility. Must provide this information at time of submit. UnitOncology-7th floor and outpatient, travelers will only work on floor # beds29 beds CertsBLS, prefer NIHSS, ONS if want to do chemo-2 years of experience required in specialty, no first-time travelers Ratios1:5, on occasion 1:6 EMRMeditech Charge NurseCharge Nurse out of the staffing grid, unless unusual circumstances. Nurse AidesYes, generally 3 per day Weekend RequirementEvery other weekend Holidays- Rotate in w/ staff Scrub Color- Carribean Blue TeleYes, central monitor, not a requirement to read strips Floating- Rarely, to medical acute Floor specific orientation- 3 days Common diagnosis / Types of patient s- Acute oncology symptoms, thrombocytopenia, neutropenia, sickle cell crisis, hematology, medical overflow, oncology, end of life care Additional Notes- Outpatient area patients-- will come to floor and finish treatment if running late and outpatient area closes Cancellation Policy:12 hours every 2 weeks Charting - 6.1 BSN Required:No License to Trauma Level: Care Shift - 7A-7P Required Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Contract
