Pay Information$2,542 per week About The PositionDepartment Description: Our clinic has 4 medical oncologists and 2 radiation oncologists. We are a fairly busy clinic and see around 130 patients each day. Some of these have office visits, some have chemo and some have radiation treatment visits. General Job DutiesWork in the infusion room starting and stopping patients. Perform port draws and line draws in the lab on patients prior to chemotherapy treatment. Room patients, take vitals, provide nursing assessments. Offer assistance in the chemo room after training. Equipment Utilized In DepartmentEPIC and Beacon the oncology module for EPIC Required SkillsThe Registered Nurse is a professional who assumes the responsibility and accountability for the provision of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care. Experience in oncology preferred. Required Licensure/certificationsActive WI RN license, chemo cert preferred, minimum 2 years of experience, more preferred Unit Specific TrainingWe have unit competencies that we train all of our nurses on and sign them off prior to letting them work on their own. This specific training is for proper technique of port draws and we also have chemo competencies.
