Pay Information$2,287 per week About The PositionOperating Room nurses, also called Perioperative Nurses, provide care for patients before, during, and right after surgeries. They care for surgical patients outside of sterile operating rooms and assist with surgical instruments and equipment inside operating suites.Duties of OR (Circulating) nurse (including but not limited to):1. Responsible in extending assistance to various type of surgical operation and does other related work in the OR2. Responsible for setting up of OR, instruments, and supplies3. Observes patient during surgical operation/procedure4. Follows hospital policy and safety guidelines5. Gathering all supplies needed for the operation6. Assuming responsibility of keeping the operating room sterilized7. Position and prepare patient on operating table8. Ensures that operating on correct patient and site, and the correct procedure is beingperformed9. Monitor patient’s vital signs to detect anomalies10. Evaluate patient in postoperative phases11. Assume duties within or out of the sterile field as assigned12. Responds to life-saving situations based upon nursing standards and protocol13. Will responsibly chart in the EMR system as well as document when pulling/takingsupplies from the medication dispensing system14.
